Hey everyone,

I've been lurking for a while, but decided to post because I'm pretty excited. I just got back from the dealership, and I'm picking up my new Sierra SLT All Terrain on Thursday morning.

It has a few more options than I thought I'd come away with...but I like the gadgets.

Anyway, I don't have pictures yet, but this is the window sticker:

2011 GMC SIerra SLT

This is going to be my first pickup truck. I've always wanted one, but always either had a sedan or SUV.

Thanks in advance for all of the info and help.

So my link didn't work apparently, but the truck has most of the options I think you can get on it besides the side steps and the engine block heater. It's a black All-Terrain with the all Onyx interior.

I'm excited. I've always been a GM car guy, and I have a 2009 G8 GT now, too...the truck is going to have more power than my car, though. :D

Is it Thursday yet?

No kidding. :D

Delivery is scheduled for 11am. I'll try and snap some pictures at the dealership. It's rainy and gloomy outside today.

Sweet! Looks awesome.

Use the 2 bucket method when washing and nothing but micro fiber towels to keep the paint nice and shinny

Custom exhaust or 6.2?

It's a 6.2. That was a requirement.

The All Terrain wheels are a bit cheesy, but ill wait til the stock tires are worn before replacing those.

I have a ton of microfiber towels ready to use. It's still gloomy and rainy and gross here, so ill wait on the first wash pictures, but I will thank you all in advance for all the help and info here.

Welcome! Hope you are enjoying the nice new ride! I love black, nothing looks nicer when it is clean. I have a hard enough time with the Ohio salt keeping my stealth grey clean.

I came from a F150 and just love my SLT so far. I did not think a truck could ride as nice as it does. I love the seats in the truck to, makes me want to take a long road trip.

Now you just have to start modding it.

The 6.2 is awesome. I had previously the Vmax 6.0 and there's just no comparison. The power and smoothness is awesome.
