Road Trip - Need Real Weather!

Leaving tomorrow morning for my trip. It would be awesome if I could get some REAL weather information, not what the weather man says.

 

I'm going from Baltimore to St Louis, so I have three ways I can go:

 

Up I70 all the way, or run 68 for a while. Either way, I'm looking at Fredrick MD, Cumberland MD, then either

 

Morgantown WV, Parkersburg WV, Dayton OH, Cincinnati/Columbus OH, Indianapolis, down through Illinois into St Louis

 

or

 

Weirton WV/Wheeling WV to Dayton OH and then the same as the one above

 

or

 

Run south after Morgantown. Charleston WV, Huntington WV, across KY, into St Louis.

 

The first way looks pretty flat after Dayton so I should get better MPG. I'm just real worried about this storm. I was planning on using the KY route as my "backup" if this storm hit, but now they are supposed to get snow and ice as well. Gotta go, don't have a choice so if I can get some real world weather it would be invaluable in making the decision on which way to go. I know KY was supposed to get ice yesterday and today, with snow tomorrow and I know Morgantown wv/Cumberland MD/Wheeling/Weirton/Parkersburg was supposed to get some snow from today through Saturday.

 

EDIT: Also, if anyone knows any good 24 hour truck stops or rest areas with 24hr bathrooms etc. after Weirton that would be appreciated too. I'll be stopping somewhere in OH/Illinois (hopefully) or southern WV if I go KY to sleep in the truck. I drive to Weirton and other areas of NW WV frequently, so I am okay up until that point.

I haven't been up home in 7 months, but I've heard Ohio got another +6" at this very moment. North of Columbus is completely flat for the most part, so that's the good thing. Anything in WV/Kentucky has hills. Hills + snow = no fun. I'd personally run all the way to Indy to St. Louis. Hope you make it safe man.

Thanks, I think that's what I'm going to do. Those boys in WV and Ohio know how to plow good anyway
