Gm-700 Dvd Nav Parts

I recently installed the "OEM" GM-700 DVD/NAV unit in my 07 Sierra. The DVD player worked fine for a few days and then it stopped working. I get the err disc message when inserting a dvd. Any idea what's wrong?? Any idea where I can get parts for this thing?? Google search has returned nothing... quite possible I have bought a knock off piece of crap. But, I'd like to fix it as everything else works fine, bluetooth, gps, etc...
