oil additive

has anyone ever tried X1R oil additive in their trucks?  heard a lot of great things about it.  just wondering what is your opinions?

IMO,don't do it.

Oil additives may boast about doing this or doing that but when it comes right down to it they all do one thing and that is change the weight of your oil wether it has a congealing effect or a diluting effect.

If you add a product into your oil that changes the weight,it just defeats the purpose of using that specific grade of oil and the change could cause damage to your engine by not letting the grade of choice do its intended job.

Ya, don't add to your oil.  Just switch to synthetic.
