How Do I Remove The Gmc Grill Logo?

I can barely see some plastic clips on the backside but they don't budge when I was messing with them.

Good grief, I hope you're kidding with me.

 

I went out and was prying with a pry tool and wondering how the heck those clips came out. I had no idea there were 10mm nuts on the posts.

 

Are the posts in the middle? How many are there?

There aren't nuts on the new ones there are metal clips.

You probably could get them out without removal of the grille, but it would be very hard, and I wouldn't want to risk a $50+ emblem for a half hour more worth of work to just take the grille out and have better access. Just to warn you removing the bumper cap with but some hair on your boys, it is very tight and makes a very nasty crack when it pops out. It's made to flex but boy is it scary
