Best Setup For My Amp And Subs

Can someone please tell me how to get the best sound with the AMP/SUBS combo I have?

I have an AUTOTEK MX500 below are the specs. I had this amp powering two JL Audio W3's back on 04. Sounded amazing.

 

2 x 125w @ 4ohm,

2 x 250w @ 2ohm

2 x 425W @1ohm

1 x 500w bridged @ 4ohm bridged

1 x 800w bridged @ 2ohm

 

Speakers

 

I have two 10 inches Memphis 15-PR10D4V2

SIZE-10"

RMS/PEAK-250/500

SENSITIVITY-86 dB

MAGNET SIZE-60 oz

MOUNTING DEPTH-5.18

The 2*425@1ohm would be the loudest, but not really the tightest or best quality. If port, I'd definitely say 2*425@1ohm.

Thanks for your help. Now only if I could find a drawing of what that looks like. This is my first time wiring up speakers.

Before you can wire them up we need to know somethings. Are they duel voice coil (dvc) or single voice coil (svc) next what ohm are the coils. Once you know this we can tell you how to wire it of get the most out of your amp.

agree to the guy above me .. running JL i think they are dual 2ohm ..have to find out that , i run 2 15s at 4ohm with a 200 watt mcintosh amp .i hit 150.7 db ..

Speakers are Dual Voice Coil and are 4 ohms.

Ok if you have 2 4 ohm dvc subs you can either run. 2 channels at 8 ohms 1x4 2x2 or 1x1 if you don't understand what I'm talking about ask and ill explain it better
