Not much help with the headers, but this should be your next stop after headers Black Bear Performance.

Also there's going to be an in person tune meet in pittsburgh later on in spring, it's a real good time, neat to meet people and see all the nice trucks/cars too.

You can PM me if you have any questions about it.

I want to do the bbt but I want to hold off for a minute. The thought of throwing a turbo on the truck has been running in my mind and I would want bb to be the ones to tune it. I wanted the lth just to get the ball rolling.

I believe anything that bolts up to the 5.3 will bolt to the 4.8. I believe the exhaust ports are the same. :P

More I think about it I do believe you are correct on that Steven

Now that was what I wanted to hear. I did alittle research and everything I found said that the topend of both engines were the same but I wanted someone else to confirm it for me. Thanks guys

Id stick with the gibson shorties.Dont get a turbo.Look in to a charger, twin screw or centrifugal.Dont get me wrong turbos are great especially sts.But are you really go to need all the hp?

i have the pace setter LT headers with there special coating on my 5.3 and i have about 3-4000 kms on them with no warping or pealing of the coating. they are awesome headers that are cheap. lots of performance guys and my performance dealer swears by them.

I don't know if you know or not but you will need a custom tune for the headers.
