Bluefusion Opinions?

Well, after spending MANY hours reading on the different options to add Bluetooth to my '08 Sierra Denali, I think I've decided to add a Scosche Bluefusion unit.

I would like to retain Onstar. My previous vehicle was stolen, and I really like the idea of making a phone call and having Onstar track it down.

I have considered doing the VCIM swap, but haven't been able to buy into that yet. I do love the idea of using the stock microphone setup as well as the stock steering wheel controls.

Does anyone have anything bad to say about the BlueFusion unit? I'd really hate to purcahse it and find out that "everyone knows" that the unit has cruddy sound, or something.

I have the Bose / Nav touchscreen interface, so having the caller id information show up would be a nice feature.

Thanks for your opinions.

I have just installed the bluefusion unit in my truck. It is a very simple install. I do not have nav. but the fusion works with both systems in the gm trucks. I have a HTC evo and the only problem I have is that it doesnt auto connect very well. Every time i enter the truck I have to hold down the seek down button to start the bluetooth system. IDK how well the stock mic works, but i put the fusion mic in place of it, and it seems to echo a little. I love how easy it is to use, but now I think I might try the factory vcim swap. My main complaint is the echo of the mic.
