I recently had a Dealer install controller and they goofed the wiring bad and backwards across the board. After finding this I had to purchase a new controller because old one was fried but now I can not get it to work from the brake switch feed when I checked the voltage with my Fluke meter I only get a 15 millivolt reading from pin D on my 2007 2500 HD classic, I also checked pin A which is where my 2000 model hooked up and got the same 15 millivolt reading so queastion is does the brake switch feed to this have a fuse or am I going to have to take this in and get a new brake switch installed because I know from hooking up my old one I should be getting 12 volts or better.

My '04 GMT800 had a plug & play connection for the brake controller (Tekonsha P3). Did the '07s still have this feature?

If you can get a GM harness from the brake controller manufacturer the install is pretty painless as there is no searching for wires or splicing, etc.

yeah there should be a plug n play for this plus the fuse under the hood to send 12 volt it plugs into one of the ports in the little distribution center to the left of the brake pedal *small black box*

    • New to this forum.  Also looking to tune a 6L80 and trying to work out all the issues in my transmission swap.  I have a 6.2 diesel (1983) and have removed the TH-400 and about to put in a 6L80 with a TCM-2600 interface and don't have a clue what I doing after that.  Did you (Leatherneck/RAV3) get your slip resolved? I too hate to spend that kind of money on a tuner that hopefully I will not need too many times although from what steelerdude15 added about the HP Tuner being great for diagnostics would be a plus.  I am also from WNC but below you in Columbus.  Any helo would be greatly appreciated.

    • Wouldn't swapping out the original AFM/DFM parts for a complete Delete Kit be the best route to go if one could afford to go that route?
    • It comes with directions but yes, generally, it's the same.  Also, get you the dipstick stuff to install dipstick so you have one.
