Tire Size After Leveling Front End

Hello

 

I just raised my front end 2 1/4" with a leveling kit. I have a 2008 GMC 2500HD crew cab. I am considering putting new tires on it using the stock 17" rims. I wanted to see if anyone has leveled the front end and run either 285/70-17 or 305/(something)-17 without rubbing. I am more interested in max tire height than I am width.

Either one should work. Might have to trim the plastic lower valance just a little on the corner.

i fit 285/70/17 with no rubbing at all on my o8 silverodo 1500

Pretty sure you could have fit a 285/70/17 on a HD with no lift anyways. So you'll be golden with a lift.
