Zone 1.5" Body Lift

So I would like to put a Zone 1.5" body lift but my truck is brand new so will it affected the warranty on the truck? Should I wait (a thing i'm not able to do normally) to put the kit??

It shouldn't void any warranty. If it does, they have to prove that it was caused from the body lift. Maybe if something odd messes up like the steering column (streched longer) etc... But if your ball joints or 4wd or something goes out, there is no way it was caused by the body lift. I doubt you would have any issues.

 

I just added mine a couple of weeks ago and the truck looks 1000 times better.

 

Also, if you don't mind that extra .25" or haven't bought the zone yet, I would look at the Rough County 1.25" BL (this wasn't available when I bought my zone). It is cheaper and looks easier to install because it comes with "new" front bumper brackets. That's is what takes so long on the zone is the front and rear brackets (cutting with a sawzall, and drilling). I would have maybe went that route, but I had already bought the zone. Don't get me wrong, I love the way the zone looks (maybe that .25" makes a difference), but the RC looks a little easier. Look at the zone instructions on the bumper brackets, and look at the picture of the RC body lift, and you will see what I'm talking about with the brackets.

Another option would be to have the dealer install it. It will cost you an arm and a leg for labor but usually they will warranty their work, which in turn will not void your factory warranty.

 

I installed mine with my uncle (mechanic) and it was very time consuming but not very difficult at all. In response to the warranty, I'm with Nick, they would have to prove the BL caused the failing part.
