5.3 Shifting Problem?

I recently got a BB tune and after i installed it i noticed that whenever i floor it and it wants to shift into 2nd gear it'll just hang there and just red line for a second or two until it shifts up. Is this normal or do i need to beef up my transmission before i fu#% things up?

my stock 5.3 will lag shifts sometimes...but it will go no where near redline before shifting

If you didn't notice until after the tune, talk to Justin. My '03 tahoe (with 5.3) still shifts like new and has 177K miles. Doesn't lag and won't go near redline unless I have it floored.
