Okay, I have a Rough Country Leveling Kit on my 09 Silverado Reg Cab and It still isn't level, Its 1.25in off balance from the rear. Its a 2009 Silverado Reg Cab LT1 Z71(4x2) with Open Country Tires on it only one size wider. I dont know what else to do, I really dont want to spend alot of money trying to get it perfectly leveled cuz im probably going to get rid of it soon. Please give me some advice! Thanks.

That doesnt add up, a 2" leveling kit should level it out, or be around .5" lower in the front. You could take the rear blocks out, they are 1.25". Did you buy the truck used? Are there larger blocks in the rear already? Do you have a ranch hand or heavier bumper on front?

NICKS: No I did not buy my truck used, it only had 8 miles on it when I bought it, It was really dipped low in the front when I got it.

If I removed the blocks in the back, would that mess up any of the driving or axle or anything?

It shouldn't, a lot of people have done it. Measure the rear blocks, they should be 1.25" tall, or were leaf springs added? If they are taller, than something has been swapped out.

I just put that kit on my '11 reg cab short box and it is still 1" lower in the front. Which is what I expected since it was originally 3" higher in the back. I think since the difference in height is over a short distance it is more pronounced than say a long wheelbase model.

Yup. Mine still sits 2.25 inches higher in the rear. RCSBs seem to sit lower up front.

no shop is goin to "professionally leveled" they're just goin to slap a regular "leveling" kit on it and you'll still be sitting low in the front....

Well do you think it would level out if I added another leveling kit? Like the kind that goes on top of the front shocks, because the RC leveling kit goes on right next to the wheels.

stackin leveling kits is never a good idea, it causes pre-mature wear on the front end components as well as extreme angles. even after i went to a bds 6.5" full lift kit it still sets a little bit low in the front. i think it gives the truck a good stance though and it doesnt make it look like it has a stupid cali lean when i throw a bunch of stuff in the bed.
