Te Sensors Stopped Reading After Attempting To Reset With Load In Bed

Tied to reset "relearn tire positions" a few ways discrribed on here and the tire shop with the "gun" said my tires were sending the signal but still not resetting. I may have damaged the computer while attempting to relearn tire positions with a heavy load in the bed. Any info on this or how to fix it? Now that i have a 6 guage dash in the truck i would like to have it reading correct. Thanks.

The process to reset or relearn the TPMS is not completely stable. On my 2008 Yukon XL Denali, the first time I did it, it took several tries to get it right. The next time went perfectly. I seriously doubt you damaged your computer by relearning positions.

Try it again, paying close attention to the beeps. I don't recall the exact issues I had the first time, but it was operator error (sequence wrong or not doing something fast enough or too fast)... I think you have to let the air out fast enough so it sends change in time allowed.

Follow the process in your owner's manual, have an air supply available before you start..
