Do i need to go to the dealership or can i do it at home? I took off my winter rims and tires and put on my summer treads.the summer wheels and tires have been sitting in the shed since the december.so do the tpms go into sleep mode if they are not being used for awhile?

TPMS= pain in the ass......lol , but no worries. I had the same issue when I put my new wheels on my truck. The TPMS system has to relearn each tire sensor when you switch the rotation of the tires. Do not waste your money going to the dealer, that's all you have to do is turn to your owners manual. Some people say it took them a couple of times to get it right, but I did mine on the first try. Good luck....

Dealer does mine for free. Don't lose any air out of your tires when the dealer does it. If they charged me for it I would do it myself. Not a big deal though. They have to be programmed for the tires on your truck at the time otherwise you might be showing the tire pressure of the truck parked beside you.
