2011 Silverado Brake Controller Installation

here are pic of my brake controller installation. The controler is a tekonsha p2. don't mind the dirty truck.

Exactly where I put mine. Did you find you had to offset the forward part of the brake controller holder at all in order to tilt the controller up? I had to offset it about 1/8 inch or the controller tilted down too much and wouldn't function during acceleration or with a heavy load in the back. I used 1/4-20 nuts since that's what I had around at the time.

Haven't tried it yet. Gotta go get a tandem axle car hauler yet. Just did this in preparation of getting it
