Motor Mounts V8 Vs V6

I need the motor mount on the right for a V6. The mount on the left is for a V8. I checked 8 salvage yards today and 1 pull your own but no one has the V6 mount. Does anyone know where I could get these or just the passenger side mount?

V6 mount that fits Blazer/Jimmy/Hombre/Sonoma/Bravada is # 15138296 .... not sure if that helps any. A REAL cheap alternative is DEA Products # A2802.

 

Same engine, different truck ( if it's the one in your profile - '93 1500) - so check to be sure that would work.

The 15138296 says its specifically for 95-05. The truks and engines all changed significantly in mid 94. Also it looks like this.

which is nothing like either one in my picture above.

So you're looking for motor mounts for your 1993 GMC 1500 with a V6? Unless I'm missing something, have you tried the parts store?

Yeah wasn't thinkin - totally different style & year range there. That DEA mount is an exact copy of the 15138296. I have a pair of DEA's here.

 

Just FYI I plan on using the 15138296 in an '89 Blazer with a '00 engine. Haven't started the project yet, but from what I've been reading it should bolt right up.

 

Your '93 is definitely different from the '00 that I stole the motor out of. Where the motor mounts bolt to the frame, it's flat on the '00 - yours is raised with a bolt going thru.

txab, what you show is the engine side of the mount yes. Every parts store has that. If you look at the picture ..... the mount on the right is what I need. Parts stores like AutoZone don't have that. PLease look at the picture, thanks.
