Older 350

I have an older 350 that I'm putting back on the road and would like to know the specks on it . Can anyone tell me where I can find the engine codes for it ?  The engine code is V0129CKT and the assembley code starts with 16J . Any help would be appreciated greatly .. I know it was assembled in Janesville Wi. Would like to know the horse power ??? Jim ??? ps It is going in a 50 five window.

Do you have the engine block casting number? It is located at the rear of the block just below the distributor. I can tell you that your engine was built at the Flint engine plant in Mi. on january 29th of whatever year the engine is.

Look on back of block you should see somethging similar to 3970010, 3970020. Get the number and I or one of the others can look it up. Older Chilton book I have  is a big help. It has the head castings and everything. 58-72 is the one I have before all the epa crap. Standing in front of block I think it is on the right rear, where the head and block meet on a lip. Probably cruddy but is is there. Pretty sure it is right, may be left but it's on that lip on one of the sides.
