Door Jamb Switch

I have a 2002 2500hd and when I bought it the dome override switch was off because the lights would stay on. I replaced the hinge pins in the drivers door because they were worn out thinking that it was causing the truck to think the door was open. I also noticed the radio turns off when you shut the truck off and it should stay on and the ignition dings while the key is in again like the door was open,. It didnt help replacing the hinge pins so now I think there is a problem with the door jamb switch but I cant seem to locate it. I am wondering if anyone knows where it is located. Also my lock on the drivers door pops back to unlocked position when I press the power lock button on the drivers door but it works fine with the keyless remote. Any ideas what this could be

There is no door jamb switch on a GMT800 but there is a switch that replaces it on the door latch assembly. Sounds like that switch is bad or the wiring between the door and body is bad.
