Debadged my truck used goo gone and adhesive remover and still have some glue on there. Alos, tried to clay bar it off. Has anyone used the 3m adhesive remover. Costly at $10 a can but if thats what I need to get it off I'll get it. Any suggestions

3m adhesive remover is a wonderful product, but you will have to rewax your vehicle when you are done using it.

3M adhesive remover works great and will allow you to take it off easily. Just make sure you clean and wax the area you used it. If not it will show streaks where it was used no matter how many times you wash the truck.

Used it and loved it. Also loved 3m stripe remover wheel (reduced the job by hours).

 

Also for the real fine adhesive that still showed on my truck (Like the border lines of the tape) I polished them away with meguiars Ultimate Compound, then polish, then wax

Debaged mine today to paint all my hardware black, I used a window tint install plastic blade to remove the glue along with plain ole gas ....... Needs to set for 3-5 mins but comes off great!
