Interior Light Do Not Turn On When I Open The Door Gmt-900

Well, last week I finally swapped out the door lock actuators with the most up to date part number I could find. After the install, I noticed that the dome lights to not turn on when I open the door to enter the truck, but they do come on after I have driven the truck, and open the door to exit. Anybody have a clue why this is happening? I've tried it on both the drivers and passengers door, and the results are the same. I haven't tried the rear doors (I'll go check them out in a few minutes). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, it looks like the rear doors trigger the interior lights just fine. The front doors do not trigger the interior lights as described before. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
