Denali Roof Racks?

Hey guys, we have a 2009 Yukon SLT and I wanted to change out the roof rack with one off of a Denali. Does anyone know if the mounting points are the same, and is there anyone out there that has a Denali roof rack that wants to sell it...I know that's a reach, but I thought I would ask.

If they do mount to the same lugs, does anyone (Rich) know how much a new Denali roof rack would cost?

im sure the lugs or threaded inserts will be the same, and i would have to assume that theyd be exact same mounting points, easiest way to figure out is measure yours and find one on a lot somewhere to measure. as far as prices go check gmpartsdirect or if you have a good hook up at a dealership. also check a junkyard for somethin totalled you can pull it off of

I actually did the same thing with my 2009 Suburban LTZ. I was trying to find the original links and pictures that I found when I was doing my research on the same mod and couldn't find them for you.

To answer your question more directly, the install was a one-for-one, hole-for-hole match on the Denali parts to my non-Denali vehicle. I read the same for all people who were trying to do the Tahoe/Yukon, Suburban/Yukon XL, as well as the pickup versions.

When I ordered the part, I had to give a VIN number of an actual Denali vehicle because when I gave the VIN for my Suburban, they said the part wasn't available.

The only thing I had to do is to take the plastic fronts/backs to an auto repair shop because they came unpainted as a gray plastic. The repair shop waited until they were doing another black vehicle and then he painted my parts while painting the car. It was a very easy install after getting the parts painted.

Now I have a set of extra non-Denali roof racks sitting in my garage. And in 2011, the new 75th anniversary Suburban came with the same Denali rails as part of their celebration package.
