GQ1 -- AXLE REAR, STD RATIO

GT4 -- AXLE REAR, 3.73 RATIO

GT5 -- AXLE REAR, 4.10 RATIO

GU4 -- AXLE REAR, 3.08 RATIO

GU5 -- AXLE REAR, 3.23 RATIO

GU6 -- AXLE REAR, 3.42 RATIO

G80 -- AXLE REAR, Heavy Duty locking differential

And that would be an 8.6 10 bolt

look in the glove box. there is a list of rpo codes

like where do i find those numbers and is it a locking differential or a limited slip

They are on the white label in your glove box. if it says G80 you have a locking diff. GM does not install limited slips in trucks with the exception of the Quadrasteer which could come with a G86 limited slip.

Where the confusion comes in GM uses the same RPO code G80 for the locker that comes in trucks and also for the limited slip that comes in cars.
