Fuse Block Stuck To Connectors

Okay so me and the old man are trying to install fog lights in my 2009 Sierra. Got switch changed fine, go to lift the fuse block to put the purple wire in for the fogs and the fuse block picks up the wire junction connectors as well. It doesn't pick up the back left black one but every other one picks up and we can only pick it up 1-2".

I know we have to be missing something? I wanted to do this myself for some self satisfaction / quality time with the pops, but we both ended up getting frustrated with it and quit. What are we doing wrong??

Did you pull up on the grey (i think) release handles? Mine sticks like that sometimes too and you have to work it to get them to release.

Yeah the handles are released... It's just picking upfuse block and connectors... It's like the connectors didn't stay locked into the bottom?

The reason you arent getting answers is because its nearly impossible to determine what the problem is, I know that fuse block is hard to get out, you have to play around with it, take a good look at it, it might be catching somewhere, no matter how you describe it, there could be so many different reason its hanging up, so without a accurate diagram with arrows pointing to where it is hanging up I just don't see how you'll find help here on that.

Take it to the dealer maybe they will show you.
