Truxedo Lo Pro Qt & Bed Extender

I have a 2004 GMC Sierra SLT and want to get this cover. However, I also have a bed extender. Anyone have any experience with this cover and using a bed extender at the same time? According to truxedo, you need at least 3 inches of clearance on both sides of the bed to accomodate the cover. My bed extender is about 1 1/2 inches from the side. Are people just lifting it up to turn it around, or is there some other solution.

  This one was the one I watched. As a side note to this thread my 14 Sierra 5.3 has now 122K and I have never had the stabil trak or brake alarm come in again and still on original motor and transmission. It has been glitchy but good overall.

  Thank you VERY much to everybody in this thread. I have a 2014 Silverado Texas Edition & I've loved every second of it... until this ground issue came up. I'm losing the time & radio memory immediately if I set it up again & the G218 ground seems to be the most common issue. You mention the You Tube video was a great help, but I didn't notice a link to the particular video you watched. In doing a search, I can find several, but would certainly prefer finding the one your recommend. I'd sure appreciate any help finding that same one, if that's possible. Thank You! KirbyCo

  Ambient temp sensor is installed at the bottom of the grille shutter at the front of the truck behind the grille. That would not be the ambient air temp sensor. That would be the windshield outside moisture/ambient light and humidity sensor. Not the ambient temp sensor.
