4wd Problem After Transmission Rebuild - Please Help!

I have a 1996 Chevrolet Suburban 4x4 and just had the transmission replaced. I got it back and the 2hi light is not showing up, and you have to put it in neutral to shift it into 4hi (and 4lo). When you shift it into 4hi both the 4hi and 4lo lights come on. The transfer case goes into 4hi, but the front actuator doesn't engage. You can then press the 4lo button, and the transfer case will shift into low and the front actuator will lock in. Both the 4hi and 4lo lights are still on at this time. You can then cycle it back to 4hi and then 2hi, but when it goes into 2hi the 2hi light doesn't come on. So the problems are:

2hi light doesn't come on but all three lights come on when the key is turned on

can't shift on the fly

when shifting into 4hi you must have it in neutral and the front actuator won't engage but it will engage in 4lo

4hi and 4lo lights stay on at the same time when it is in 4hi or 4lo

Here's what I've done so far... reviewed alldata diag procedures and based on the code I was getting and after all tests it led me to the TCCM. Well I took it out and put it in my 98 Z71, and it works perfectly so that isn't the problem. I think there is a bad ground somewhere, but I'm not sure where to look for all of the grounds. It could be a bad transfer case switch or front diff switch, but none of that was messed with during the trans rebuild.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Please help! Oh yeah, it looks as if all connections are as they should be.

Thanks,

Rhett
