K And N Aircharger Intake

I can't find any useful information out there so I figured I'd ask in here. I got a K and N Aircharger air intake for my 1992 k1500. 350. The part number on it is 63-1007-1, its a round, open air style air cleaner. The kit comes with a plug to go in the spacer at the throttle body for the crankcase vent. Instead it uses a hole in the base plate where a 90 degree elbow goes to hook up the crankcase vent. The elbow is attached with a plastic nut. The nut that came in my kit is capped off on one end, effectively plugging the crankcase vent. Now I could be wrong, but it seems to me that that can not possibly right. I'm assuming that I got the wrong nut in my kit, but figured I'd try and check before I have the parts store order me another kit so I can see what comes in it.
