295/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers On Leveled Gmt900

I know the debate on what tire and wheel set-up will fit has been discussed here in multiple threads and I hate to be the guy that creates another thread on it but I know I found a truck on here a few weeks back and the member was running 295/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers on a stock GM wheel with only a 2.5" leveling kit. I remember he had pictures of the truck as well but Ill be damned if I can find it again. It was one of those threads you just kind of stumble upon and when you want to find it again you cant! Can anyone here remember where that thread was located because the search option has led me nowhere or does anyone have any pics of a 2.5" leveled GMT900 running the 295/70/17 Terra Grapplers? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can't help with the thread but I did put a 2.5" leveling kit on my truck on the stock wheels and I put the 305/70/R17 on mine. It rubs a little bit but only on sharp turns. Good looking tire though.

ive only got 2" up front but the 3" block in the back made a world of difference.

Thank You Astatesigpi! It was your truck I was looking for. For some reason I thought you had the Terra Grapplers, but nonetheless it was your truck I saw in the previous post. Did you have to do any trimming?

Also Bigred41, did you do any mods for your 305's also do you have some pics to post?

Here is a link to my truck, just got it done today. I love the way it sits and the Nitto are quieter than the stock goodyear AT-S.

i did not have to do any trimming but i did end up removing my front splash guards since they were rubbing on tight turns. aside from that i have to really be wailing on the truck to get it do any rubbing whatsoever.

My tires are actually smaller than yours, but i rub. I did notice i only got 1 1/2" out of my leveling kit though. I would say that is my problem.
