'94 Chevy 1500, 4.3 Auto. I can drive all day long and the temp gauge won't budge, as soon as the truck is turned off, the temp gauge goes up to normal operating temp. As the truck cools off, the temp gauge goes down, as soon as I start it up, it goes back down and remains there until I turn it off again. Has anybody ever heard/experienced this issue?

It's not working. The normal power off position is somewhere in the middle of the scale. Check the connection at the temp sender.
