Courtesy Lights

My 2010 LTZ did not come with courtesy lights in the mirrors (and I'm not sure if the wiring is alread in the mirror to support them) and I'm attempting to put a white led light in the bottom of each mirror but I'm not sure about the wiring. I would really light to wire them so they come on any time the dome lights are not which should cover when the doors are open or the lock or unlock button is pressed. I found the ground wire which triggers the door switch but not sure where to grab the hot. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
