Thanks steven! yeah i used to do a mobile detail business so every now and then bust out some of the waxes. i been waiting to see this color come out...it is nice!!!

oh little quick tip. notice the tape around those black flairs ...when buffing no matter how good you are or want to be...your going to slip and burn wax into those pores of that plastic so better to keep that stuff from getting gunk all over it.

 

i could of taped the whole flair but the compound i was using is more of a liquid that wont fling abbrasives like some other products . for example 3m perfect it 3 has abbrasives and will fling wet sandy residue that can also cause more cleaner for when your done your job. when doing a more aggressive job where oxidation is in the mix you will need to tape EVERYTHING...keep those door jams from becoming a mess...this will create a cleaner job later on down the road.

 

for this job i used a combination of a few products..GLiptone #2 compound...aka more of a glaze then went over that with there #3 hand polish...wich can also be applied by machine. trick to keeping down swirls is good product and "start with a machine end with a machine" so if you buff compound on ...never put your hand on the car again only use a random orbit polisher to remove wax. microfiber towel at the end to get rid of any dust
