Abs Check Brake System Alert

My 2004 GMC 2500 HD 4 wheel drive ABS warning light is coming on intermittantly. This has happened following the replacement of a front ABS sensor. If you turn off the ignition and resart the warning does not reappear for several starts. Dealer unable to find any codes in computer. Before I pull off wheel and rotor to replace sensor again would like to investagate which module controls these alerts, such as door adjar ABS ect.. The door chime has also been acting erratic, more chimes than necessary, chiming after key out and all equipment off. Anyone had this problem?

are you sure it's not a wheel hub goin out? alot of times they throw abs codes because the wheel hub is so screwed up...

The abs module has to be rebuilt.
