What Size Tires?

Hey guys-

 

what is the biggest I can go size wise with a 3.5 inch left on my 2010 sliverado ltz? I want to utilize my stock 20" wheels.

3.5" lift?? please tell me you aren't considering a 3.5" "suspension lift"

I already have the new RC 3.5 inch kit in and have so since June. I have about 4,000 miles on the lift with no problems and my alignment is still perfect. Anyway, what size ties can I run on my stock 20" wheels? I would like the biggest possible as the truck is out of proportion now with lift to tire size. What is yyou recommendation for the tires?

just an FYI the kit is JUNK, several people have returned it due to the fact it kills your front end because it does nothing for BJ and TRE angles, but you'll find that out in time. anyway you can run a 33x12.5 depending on your wheel width and backspacing and if your willing to trim

Na, I dont think i want to trim. You know, I did a lot of research before i got the kit. I read all of the bad stuff and i am certainly not saying it isnt true and read the good stuff (there wasnt much). From what I could gather is that RC supposedly made some improvements to the kit compared to the old 3" kit? When I took the truck in to get it aligned I specifically told them to check the angles and see what they thought. This shop didnt put the lift in (I did) and has no reason to support RC. They told me the angles actually look fine and it seems the kit was designed fairly well. I am not an expert for sure, so we will so what happens. Like i said, so far so good. I have no tire wear issues at all (yet?). It rides smooth and everything has stayed tight. What will be my first sign of failure?

 

back to the tires. Do they make a 33/12.5 for a 20" wheel? I appreciate your honesty and help.

your welcome and every tire company is different so someone may make that size. most make a 305/55/20 which is pretty close to a 33x12.5x20
