ABS, Brakes, Stabilitrak warnings on 2007 Tahoe

Better described has "2007 Tahoe has lost its mind." I think I have the Tahoe from Hell!

First signs of some problem back in August. It went away and now has come back with a vengence. My door locks going on-and-off, ABS indicator, Brakes indicator, and Traction Control indicators all on and sometimes blinking, chimes going off, TRACK CONTROL OFF, STABILITRACK OFF, SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL flashing in DIC display, sometimes the DIC itself flickering, transmission shifting hard...

I've read a lot on the internet. Haven't found anything definitive. Took it to the dealer. I even had a video on my Blackberry to show them because the last time this happened, I took it in and they couldn't find anything wrong. I said, "I'm not paying for repairs that don't fix the problem." Of course, they responded with, "absolutely".

Well, I got the call today....the diagnosis was the BCM. I picked it up at 5:00pm, the bill was $600+ dollars, I drove it for a while and in less than an hour later, same thing.

Does anyone really know how to fix this problem?

For one, I'm taking the truck back to this dealer tomorrow and asking for my money back. I will take it to another dealer, I don't want them working on it any longer.

I don't know if this will help with your vehicle, but my 2003 Impala was doing that minus the door chimes. ABS/TRAC OFF, SERVICE TRACTION SYSTEM. It started about 2 years ago and nothing on the internet helped me either. Turned out to be a faulty ABS Module, the dealer was able to trace it down after 2 hours of going thru everything. Just a heads up it's not a cheap part, it's $1400 or $1500 for the part and another $800 for labor. I did it myself, consisted of removing the 4 hard brake lines and unplugging a few sensors then tearing it out and installing the new one. Fixed the problem right up. Hope it works for you also.

Back from dealer. I've had issues with the dealer before. Probably only reason I keep going back is because the location is convenient for me. Anyway, this time they replaced the ECBM (aka, the ABS module). A more expensive repair, but they did it at no additional charge. They had seen my face there many times before and each time is was because I was bring it back to fix something they broke or did wrong on a previous visit. No more problems thus far. Not really sure both the BCM and the ECBM were bad at the same time. Only way to know that for sure is if they happened to do the ECBM first and the problem went away after that. If the problem had anything to do with the GMLAN running throughout all the control modules, I can see why problems on the GMLAN could cause problems to crop up just about anywhere. This dealer has probably seen the last of me, however. I've been there for 4-to-5 issues in the last 2 years or so and in all cases, the visits ended up taking 2-or-3 return trips to fix issues that they caused while performing the original repair.
