Power Steering fluid leak??

It looks like I have been leaking power steering fluid, there is a square plate on top of the sector gear (I guess thats what its called) with 4 bolts holding it on and a nut in the middle. It looks like I have been leaking from under that plate, no visible fluid, its just all stained and greasy like. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks

Hello, there is a gasket under that plate but I have not seen too many leak there in all my time.Did you check the hoses carefully, somtimes the fluid can leak from the hose and end up right where you are mentioning. Maybe clean it all off and take another look. good luck.

Yeah, I thought it might be a hose too, but it didnt appear to be when I looked. There is no significant fluid loss so I guess I'll just watch it for a few days. Thanks :thumb:
