Dual Exhaust?

Recommended Posts

I am wanting to put dual exhaust on my 1994 K1500 and run the pipes straight out the back with 3" tips. I have a flowmaster u-fit 2 1/4" pipes with flowmaster 40 series mufflers. One problem i see so far is my Reese hitch is wideer than the step on the bumper and it seems to hang down lower than i would like. If i use this process the pipes would run out as wide as the frame which i really don't want. Does anybody have any pics that they could post of their duals out the back and how they routed around the spare tire? Thanks in advanced for the ideas!

I would mainyl like to see if anyone has some pics of how they ran their exhaust pipes.

I've been told that because of the fuel tank that the pipes after they leave the manifold or headers that they have to be beside eachother on the passenger side and then go apart after that to go out in their regular positions but I would like to see how someone has done this, it would make it easier for me to know before I start bolting the exhaust on when I dont have an exact plan of what I'm gonna do.

thanks for the replies.

When my cousin got his duals on, flowmasters, they did join together from passenger side then branch out near the end, looked good and sounded great.
