I have a 2004 GMC serria with a factory Bose CD/cassette/xm/on star radio. I would like to add Bluetooth to the system for calls and streaming music. Does anyone know a product or a way to do this with android?

I have a 2000 with the old radio. I picked a Motorola Roadster, which is a Bluetooth speaker. It allows you to go the FM transmitter router for music and calls. I tried it this weekend and it worked okay - hard to find a radio station without interference where I'm at, but it is an option. Also, just using the speaker is a give upgrade from the phone speaker when using the nav or talking on the speaker phone.

In the figure, I'm thinking about upgrading to an aftermarket Bluetooth capable radio, but not sure of anothet alternative.

Scoche Bluefusion. Model BFCL2K. About the only plug and play solution for that truck. We've had very uneven success with different phones, so keep your receipt if you get it.

Microphone placement is very critical for good hands free performance (try different locations), but if it works with your phone, you'll get hands-free and A2DP in the same box.
