I can get them brand new in the package for $120/set. I know there are some ebay deals out there for less, but... that's what we get.

What year vehicle? I think I have a Brand new set for an 07, and a used set for a 06 laying around. Might be new 06 and used 07, I forget. But if one of these will work for you, I can do $100 shipped.

It's a good question, but I'm pretty sure these are meant to last 5-10yrs, atleast.

 

If they are anything like the toll pass transponders down here in FL, I highly doubt the battery would ever need replacing. I know out transponder has no battery replacement option on it. Technology at its finest.
