High pitch squeaking in the rear end and low speed jumpy acceleration

I noticed a few days ago a squeaking sound coming from the rear end of my truck. I let my truck sit for a day and now I'm noticing it feels like the tires are spinning and it's a little jumpy when I slowly take off.

 

Any one know what it could be?

It's a got a rear end from a 94 Chevy.

Tough to diagnose based on info provided. If you're sure it's the diff and not squeaky u-joints, I'd pull the diff cover and take a look. Check your u-joints first.
