OGM-1 / Bluetooth

Hi......

 

In my Enclave......would it be necessary to disable the factory

 

bluetooth in order to use the Parrot bluetooth that is on the OGM-1

 

even if you have no devices paired??

 

How would you go about doing this??

I didn't have to disable the factory Bluetooth in my Silverado, I don't believe there's even a way to do that. They do not interfere with each other.

No need to disable bluetooth, just delete your phone from the vehicle BT system as a phone can't typically be connected to two devices at once.

i'm thinking about buying an advent ogm. my question is, how well does the bluestar bluetooth work with this radio?

The unit comes with a Parrot system if I understand correctly, it shouldn't cause any issues with the BT system you have now I believe but they will not work together in any way.

If you check around on the forum, there are guys that like it better than the factory bluetooth as long as you put the mic in a good location.
