Anyone installed after market heated seat kit?

Thinking about doing it sometime . Bigest worry tho is talking apart the seat and wrecking it .

Don't be hesitant to do it your self, there's a bunch of write-ups on the site telling you how to do it and I even made a "word" document describing how it's done. I'd go OEM as it's matched to the truck and works with other components such as remote start. I first installed after market from a well known company and the install looked great, but one of the pads shorted out after a few months and burnt the cover. The manufacturer stood behind the defective heating element and replaced them both, but once was enough for me. If you'd like to try the aftermarket ones I'll sell you mine.

Best accessory you can have in the winter plus the girls love it. It's an easy install just double check your wiring. Definitely woth the time.

I have aftermarket in mine....It was installed when the katzkin leather was installed before I took delivery of the truck....they get hot faster than the factory ones in my 07 tahoe did even when it was new....
