I had an F2 way back in the day.  It was pretty potent.

I was satisfied with the power until I drove a friends ZX-7.  I ended up trading for a ZX-7 and later a ZX-11.

BTW, I am a big boy.  6'1" 290lbs

Is this your first bike?  How much do you weigh?
This will be my first bike that I will own but I have some riding exp.  I realize that this is alot of power to have in your first bike, but I'm not the kind of person that gets a car or bike and decides to see what it can do the first day.  When my dad started letting me drive the car by myself (I was 14) it wasen't until after I turned 16 that I even tryed to spin the tires.

I'm still 16 and I'm 6-1 and about 260lbs.

It will be a nother year or so befor I can get one and this may not be the one I get, I'm going to research them a little more befor I get one too.

I'm sure an RC51 is on the insurance "black list" and for a younger rider I would think the premiums would be sky high!!!

Ya I was thinking the same thing but there are some pretty young guys racing their's at the track.  Maybe thats why they haul the bikes out there and only ride them at the track, probably don't have insurance.

any experienced rider with any brains would tell you your an idiot for even starting out on a 600.  A liter bike would be just retarded.  Keep everyone else's insurance down and get a starter bike, dont be a organ donor.

I want a f4i or even better the new rr.  You should look at the rr.

Ya I know I need to think more realistickly and I was considering one of those two that you suggested.  Mabye I'll get the RC51 when I get alot older and can pay for the insurance.

Go Yamaha...

I own a 92 FZR 600  it is my first bike great to learn on and easy to fix if (when) ya wreck... I had flipped my bike off a guard rail and the only damage were the gauge cluster and plastic... easily fixed..

Check out this site  www.fzrarchives.com

I don't know, if Honda's Bikes are anything like their quads then thats what I'm going for.  You can drive their Quads to h3ll and back, do a little regular maitenance and do it again the next day.  I like RED anyway.

Ride RED, just don't drive it!
