fuel filters

i cant find the canister fuel filter on my k5.the only one i come up with is the tiny filter in the carb...What the %$#@

My o5 silverado does not have a canister filter, just the one on the fuel pump inside the tank. Unless the fuel pump goes up don't worry about it. My mechanic said most owners don't change them until needed and run some fuel system cleaner through on a regular basis.

Is this on your 84? Carb filter is all it had

ya my 84. i tried lookin but from where i could see there wasnt one there.it should be along the driver side frame right??

Again, you only have the carb filter. You still have a mechanical fuel pump on that 84. No OEM frame rail filter. You still have a carb that occasionally requires that you remove it, thoroughly clean it, then rebuild it
