305/55/20?

My friend has a 2002 Tahoe that he is about to sell. He has 305/55/20 Cooper Zeon LTZ tires on 20" XD Monsters. I told him I'd swap wheels/tires with him since it wont make any difference when he sells. Is there no way that these tires will fit even with a 2" level? Could I get it done with trimming the plastic?

I'm running that size with now with no rub, but I have a newer style T6 leveling kit from Ready Lift and it's 2.5.

I think you will have to do a little trimming.

I rubbed 305/55/20's with 5" of lift, so I call when anyone says they don't rub at all with just a leveling kit.

 

 

That is of course unless you have done some fender modding.

I have a 2" kit with 295/55/20's which are .08 smaller than the 305's and I rub sway bar only at full lock. Don't rub in reverse... Odd. And also no rubbing off road either

Blackout07 just wondering are you running aftermarket wheels? I guess you are if thats your pic. (Nice truck by the way) It wont rub if you run that size on stock wheels, also it my depend on the tires you get.

I was running aftermarkets at the time but they were damn near stock specs (20x8.5 +18mm offset). And thankyou sir. Even with the stockers though, I can't see them not contacting the sway bar.
