Usb port does not work with Motorola Razr

I have a 2010 GMC Seirra and when I plug in my smart phone it does not work. It tries to connect but won't no matter what setting I use on my phone. It also prevents me from using my radio when I leave it in to charge.

 

What can I do to fix this problem?

The truck system won't support all phones unfortunately. If you want to charge the phone I'd buy the USB adaptor for the 12v port and just charge it through there.
