2001 silverado wont start

I need help with a starting issue. Truck is a 2001 chevrolet silverado 4x4 auto trans 5.3 with 110,000 miles on it. Battery and alternator both are less than two years old were checked at napa two days ago and was told were good.

Two weeks ago truck would intermittently not start and acted liked a dead battery. Sometimes i could jump it off and sometime if i waited a while it would start. Now as soon as i turn the key to the accesory position all interior lights go off and truck is completely dead a few minute later it will reset and the lights will turn back on. It wont event attempt to turn over. I put a new starter on it thinking an electrical problem with the solenoid but same issue, completely dead. Please help

Check the ignition switch

Update, I found the problem to be a small layer of corrosion on the positive side of the battery connection. Cleaned up truck fired right up. Thanks for the feedback.
