2001 Sierra drivers floor water leak

After a big rain the other day I opened my drivers door to a soaked floor. After drying everything I found the grommet for the wiring harness from the drivers door to the A pillar loose and not sealing. Water has literally filled up the lower portion of the A pillar and was spilling over through a small hole onto the drivers floor. Applied silicone sealer to the backside of the grommet and reinstalled. We have had more heavy rains and the floor is dry so I think I must have found it on the first shot. For anyone else with a wet drivers floor, check that grommet to see if its loose.

after 2 attempts to find a water leak in a ford exploder sill plate where the water was sloshing ,i finally found a hole that the radio installers put wire thru the grommet and did not seal it !!!!!!!!

On my 99, I had the seal or the adhesive that bonds the windshield to the cab leak. You could actually see the water trickeling through the adhesive. I had to get the windshield replaced....all is dry now.
