One way vs Two Way remote Start for 09 Silverado

Hi guys.

 

Would like to order an OEM remote start kit for my 09 Silvy 4x4 LT1. I know there is the one-way (i am told P/N 17801236) vs the two-way (I read P/N 19171128).

 

First, can anyone confirm those P/Ns? I am pretty sure about the one-way but less confident about the 2-way. I have the AP8 RPO code. I do have the power rear slider which is listed as incompatible with the remote starts but it seems to only be a problem with the manual trannys (fingers crossed on that one).

 

As for the differences between the two, do they have the same range or does the 2-way actually go farther?

 

Anyone do a DIY on these (minus the dealer programming of course)? Wondering if I should just plan to do it myself. Guess there is an antenna lead that needs to be ran or is that only for the 2-way.

Update: GM Parts direct tells me 19213166 for the 2-way. Just not sure about the range.
