Flex-lite vs. Perma-cool

One of the first mods I am looking for my Sierra is replacing the stock fan/clutch with an electric setup from Flex-lite or Perma-cool.  Besides the price (perma-cool being more expensive) what are the advantages/disadvantages to both.  The Flex-lite has a plastic shroud with a variable speed control but you have the wire it up before the install.  The Perma-cool has an aluminum shroud and is already wired up.  It also uses the stock shroud hardware and mounting points.  Any comments/ recommendations?

try and do a search for both of those companies on the board. I remember some one talking about this awhile back but I'm not sure if anyone has done it yet.
