iGo Primo / Naviextras Interface

I'm looking for a little help. I have a Advent OGM1 installed in my 2011 GMC Sierra (purchased and installed by Walt in 2011). I recently upgraded to the new OS. No issues with that process - all good. Now I'm trying to upgrade to the iGo Primo Navi Software. I have downloaded and installed the naviextras toolbox software. When I connect the SD card (via card reader) to the computer it doesn't connect to the naviextras toolbox. Any ideas?? I can read, write and see the SD card on my computer without any problems. Thanks for any solutions in advance.

Do you have any third party software like Samsung things I had a problem when I had Samsung kies installed could not read any cards.

No I don't have any Samsung attached devices. Like I said, I can read, write and view the SD card as a linked drive but no connection to the Naviextras ToolBox.

Are you still using the NavMate system?

 

If so, you cannot do an upgrade via the NaviExtras Toolbox. That's only for use once you own the iGo Primo system.

Hi Walt,

Saw this post and thought this was my problem too. I too can't get the toolbox to recognise my igo primo nav sd card. can I ask you for the scoop you gave Rich please.

Although I think I have 2015 maps, I'll need to upgrade or update them sometime soon.
